Kiddy pool time, cereal time, and daddy away from home

This weekend Justin and I decided to get Brayden's kiddy pool out that my grandma bought him. Brayden loves bath time so we just knew he was going to love his kiddy pool. Boy were we wrong! We put him in it on Saturday and he cried the whole time. I blamed it on him being tired and the water being too cold. We decided to try it again on Sunday. Sunday was better, but he still was not the biggest fan. I think he will enjoy it when he gets a little older.

We also started cereal this weekend. We put Brayden in his high chair...and can I say how adorable he looks in his high chair. He looks like a little old man....so cute. Anyways, he was pretty hungry and I was not making the cereal fast enough. When I finally got it made, his daddy fed him. He didn't really know what to think about it at first. He finally got the hang of it and ended up falling asleep he was so full. By the way, I will post the cereal and pool pictures later....I don't have them on this computer.

This week, Justin has been out of town for work. It has not been too bad, but I will say that I appreciate everything Justin does for me. I really don't know how single women do it and I respect each one that does it. Justin always helps me out by either holding Brayden, keeping him happy, feeding him, changing him, bathing him, getting him to sleep, etc. He is an amazing husband and daddy. I depend on him so much and anything I ask him to do...he does without question or fuss. I take him for granted, and when he goes out of town, I realize how much I take for granted. He is amazing, and I can't imagine him not in my life or Brayden's life. Since he has been gone, I have found a new way to hold Brayden's attention while I get things ready for the next day. I put him in his high chair and placed toys in front of him. Now, keep in mind that he can't really pick things up but he loves looking at things. He just stared at the toys probably thinking man I wish I could get my little hands on those things. I sent the pictures to Justin and he said that one of the toys looks bigger than he is. The pictures are above...aren't they so cute?!?!?!? He is so funny! He is starting to really like looking at things. I used to lay him down on a mat on the floor when I wanted to get things done. Now, I have noticed that he does not want to lay...he wants to sit up so he can see everything. I can't wait for the day that he can sit on his own. I am thinking about purchasing a Bumbo seat. I have heard a lot of good things about them. Anyways, check back in for the pictures from his kiddy pool and cereal adventure! Have a great week!
