Doggett Family Update

Sorry it has been a while since my last post but here is an update on things at our house.

I got a new job at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi and love it. The people in my department are awesome!

Football season has started so Justin is so excited! We went to the first State game and we won! It was a lot of fun! Mimi and Paw Paw kept Brayden. I am hoping I will get to make it to a few more games this season but it all depends on if we can get someone to watch Brayden. Justin will go to all of the home games so that will be a good way for him to have some guy time.

Brayden has changed so much. He is saying different baby talk things and one even sounds like Da Da (I am so jealous). He definitely knows who we are now. He cries when we leave him, which breaks my heart. He is rolling over a lot...in fact, I think he is getting ready to crawl, but I could be wrong. We are still having issues with him eating out of a spoon. We are not sure why he is doing this, but he gags with every bite of baby food and cereal. A lot of people say it could be a texture thing so we are going to talk to the doctor about this. Hopefully, it will be solved soon! He is drooling and putting everything he can find in his mouth. We think he is teething, but we can't feel or see any signs of teeth. He has all of the symptoms including fever and fussiness so I guess that will be another question for our doctor.

Also, Brayden has started going to Miss Shelia's house instead of going to a daycare. Miss Shelia was his teacher at his daycare center, but she decided to take a few children to her home. We are so happy because that means less kids and more one-on-one attention. Miss Shelia has always been so great to Brayden. She is going to teach him sign language, Spanish, and do the Baby Can Read program.

Anyways, I hope everyone has a great week! Talk to you soon!
